__________

Okay, here at One Zillion Games, we have a strict "no recognizable pictures of the kids" policy, and that is a crying shame when it comes to this review.

Picture a family of four, sitting around the kitchen table with blue plastic bands around their foreheads and a picture card facing out on each of those headbands. The cover art of the box does not adequately capture how silly the group of you will look while playing Hedbanz. Don't take that as a bad thing. I think the giggly, ridiculous feeling that we all felt as we stared around at each other (wondering if we looked as silly as the others) does a GREAT job of setting a light mood for this 20 Questions-ish game.

What makes this different than 20 questions is that you are against the clock. You ask as many questions as you can before you declare the final question of "Am I a...?" If there is still time on the clock, get a new mystery card and start over. When time runs out, it is the next player's turn.  The first person to get rid of all of their chips (you start with three and get rid of one each time you guess correctly) wins!

Sometimes my kids will also play a less stressful version where they do not use the timer, but instead take turns asking questions trying to be the first person to figure the thing on their headband.

You are going to look silly. Get over it and play this game with your kids.  It is quick to set up, quick to play and requires no reading, so you can get the whole family involved.
