Order Up!

Order Up! Rules:

Order Up! is a game where you race against other pizza delivery drivers to collect the appropriate toppings before delivering an order.

I like the concept and the general game play. The kids thought it was funny to be driving around little cars and delivering pizzas.

The age suggestion of 6+ is right on. There is a need for planning ahead and decision making, so my 4 year old son was on my team.

There are some bonus cards that allow you extra movement, toppings from other players, or revenge on a player by sending them back to their pizza joint.

One issue we had was with the order cards. Three order cards are placed face up on one of the edges of the board. Without picking them up, the delivery addresses were too hard to read. I did appreciate the color coded outside border that corresponded with the each of the streets, though.

There were times where the game was frustrating. If you don’t have the right toppings, you are out of luck. If you save up toppings and don’t get to a house fast enough, you are out of luck (and stuck with toppings). The next time we play, we might have one or two more order cards available face up.

My daughter's score: thumb middle

My son's score: thumb middle

My score: 7 points

One Zillion Games was provided with a review copy of Order Up! from Z-Man Games. The fact that a review copy was provided, in no way influences our opinions of the game.
